Dane Wildey has worked in IT since 1998, earned his real estate license in 2005, and became a licensed broker in 2012. He owns and operates his own real estate company, which means BuiltByBrokers was built by someone who has lived on both sides of the problem — the technology and the transaction. Every feature exists because a working broker needed it, not because a roadmap required it.
Why We Built This
The platform I kept wishing someone would build.
After years of paying for platforms like kvCORE, Real Geeks, and Chime, I kept running into the same problem: they were built by software companies, for software companies. Bloated with features I didn't need, slow to add the ones I did, and priced like they had no idea what an independent broker's margins look like.
With a background in IT going back to 1998, a real estate license since 2005, and a broker's license since 2012, I had both sides of the problem covered. I knew what agents actually needed day-to-day, and I could build it. So I did.
BuiltByBrokers is the platform I wanted for my own practice: live MLS listings, real AI property search, automated lead capture, buyer portals that keep clients on your site instead of Zillow's — and a price that doesn't assume you're a franchise.
